  7. The PONY Capture/Display System is a complete image workstation that captures
  8. and stores images on disk. These images are normally appended to the CISCO
  9. database and can be viewed or printed in photographic quality color using the
  10. optional film printer. The images can be stored on a hard disk of the
  11. workstation or transferred to the central computer using the LOCUS PCI
  12. software. Thus, PONY is available in a single-user version and the multi-user
  13. version which can be integrated into UNIX, XENIX and Local Area Networks. Each
  14. image takes about 6 KB of disk space using the Video Compression Board. The
  15. video capture device can be a live action camera, a still camera, or a document
  16. scanner in the case of printer matter.
